Building Brain-Healthy Habits: Everyday Steps to Support Cognitive Health
While there is currently no guaranteed treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, certain lifestyle habits are known to support long-term brain health and reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
Participants will learn about factors that influence brain health, including physical activity, nutrition, sleep, music, social connection, and cardiovascular health, as well as practical ways to incorporate these habits into everyday life. We will also discuss why early awareness and diagnosis matter, how to recognize common warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, and where to find trustworthy resources for additional information and support.
Whether you are interested in protecting your own cognitive health or supporting a loved one, this presentation provides research-based information, practical strategies, and opportunities for discussion in a welcoming environment.
